NWONE Commissions

Commissions Overview, Chairs and Volunteers

NWONE has five commissions, that, along with the association's committees, do the majority of NWONE’s routine operational work. The commissions also provide strategic direction and action in the areas of Education, Health Policy, Member Services and Nursing Practice.

The commissions are chaired by members elected into the Chairperson roles. As Chairs of a commission, these elected members also serve on the Board of Directors of NWONE.

All commissions actively welcome member volunteers. You may volunteer to join a commission by contacting the Chair of that commission.
