This program will be opened by John Nance nationally recognized expert on healthcare quality and the connection between aviation safety and clinical safety.  His latest book, If Hospitals Could Fly has received national acclaim.  The agenda will also include a full day with Tim Porter O'Grady who will speak to us on leadership in these difficult times and leadership succession planning.  Other highlights include our NWONE meeting of the membership to present an update of the work of your association and presentations by Kathleen Vollman on the impact on quality nursing care on the CMS "never events", a panel of experts speaking on Nurse Sensitive Outcome Indicators, and a report on the emerging research on costing out nursing services.  We hope that you will join us.  Brochures on the program will be emailed and snail mailed to the membership in June and will also be posted on this website.
