Description

The Perioperative Services Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Operating Room, Central Processing, and Same Day Surgery including Pre-op and PACU. There are currently 30.5 FTE’s that report directly to the manager including RNs, OR Assistants, CNA and an Endoscopy Technician.

 

Requirements

Education: BSN or Bachelor’s degree in management or other health related field required. Masters degree in nursing, management or related field preferred. CNOR preferred. Must possess or be able to obtain current Oregon RN license.

Experience: Minimum of four years experience in Operating Room nursing required. One year experience in hospital-related management position preferred. Experience in a union environment is preferred. Must be able to thrive in a “working manager” environment and enjoy the ability to maintain clinical skills. This position is 70% administrative and 30% clinical and troubleshooting.
