Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center and Westside Medical Center Portland, Oregon

Kaiser Permanente has immediate openings for Chief Nursing Officers for two hospitals in the Northwest Region: Sunnyside Medical Center, a 300-bed, community/tertiary hospital in suburban Clackamas, Oregon and Westside Medical Center, a new, 126-bed hospital scheduled to open in 2013 in Hillsboro, Oregon. Both positions will be part of the region's executive team and will have responsibility for developing, leading and overseeing patient care activities at the medical centers. Qualified candidates should possess at least seven years senior management experience, preferably at the Vice President of Nursing level, in a large, complex acute community hospital or tertiary facility. Experience working within a data driven organization, particularly with respect to evidence-based practice is strongly preferred. Previous experience with and/or knowledge of Magnet principles is a plus. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in nursing with a Master's degree or Ph.D. strongly preferred.
