The Washington State Hospital Association is seeking an independent, highly motivated individual to provide public policy analysis on behalf of hospitals on issues related to access to health care, state coverage for subsidized care, and insurance benefits.  The director must have knowledge of state legislative & regulatory processes, familiarity working in a political environment, ability to serve a diverse constituency of hospitals, excellent project development & management skills, and strong communication skills.   Data collection, research and analysis skills required.  Bachelor's degree or related work experience required.  Master's degree in health services administration, public health, or business preferred.  Legal degree a plus.  Full-time, excellent benefits, competitive salary ($72,000 - $103,000).  Send resume, cover letter & employment application to HR@wsha.org or fax to 206-577-1939.  Employment applications at www.wsha.org
