Emergency Services Manager


Providence is calling an Emergency Services Manager to Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.

We are seeking a highly compassionate health care professional who loves to manage people and is passionate about Emergency Services.

 

In this position you will:
•  Serve as the Manager of the Emergency Department and provide staff supervision and coordination for the care provided to patients and their families by a designated  interdisciplinary team.
•  Have responsibility for identifying 'best practices' for care.
•  Network with community resources and consult with community health care providers serving patients with life limiting illness.
•  Have responsibility for staffing, education, department operations, and achieving department goals and objectives in collaboration with ED medical staff.

 

Required qualifications for this position include:
•  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
•  Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
•  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate for Healthcare Providers
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
•  Emergency Nurse Pediatric Core (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
•  Trauma Nurse Core (TNCC) certification
•  3 or more years emergency nursing experience
•  1 or more years of management level experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
•  Master's degree
•  5 or more total years experience in emergency services or urgent care
