State of the art equipment, including cardiac monitoring systems, electronic medical documentation, and two fully equipped resuscitation rooms. We opened our new ER in April 2010 with 32 large private treatment rooms, each universally equipped to handle any emergency, and space for family members to stay with the patient.

Highline Medical Center's comprehensive system of care includes two health care campuses, a state of the art cancer center and more than 19 clinics across Southwest King County. Our acute care campus is located in Burien. The Highline Specialty Campus, the regional choice for behavioral, rehabilitative and outpatient services is in nearby Tukwila.

We are looking for an Emergency Room Director to provide the leadership and overall responsibility for two Emergency Rooms. A Level IV thirty two bed ER at our main campus and a six bed ER at our Specialty Campus. This position reports to our Assistant Administrator of Clinical Services and responsibilities include: strategic planning; budget oversight; assuring compliance with regulatory organizations; and implementation of standards of care and practices.

Qualified applicants will be a BSN, (MSN or MBA strongly preferred) RN with 5+ years of progressively responsible leadership experience, with a minimum of two years experience in a director role. Must have recent ED experience, strong leadership and organizational skills and the ability to coach and mentor ED Manager and staff. Strong HR management skills are required.
