Inpatient Acute Care Nurse Manager
Columbia Memorial Hospital, is looking for a talented and
motivated person to be our Inpatient Acute Care Nurse Manager
The duties of the Inpatient Acute Care Nurse Manager are to
provide direction and supervision of the delivery of nursing care
in the Medical/Surgical and Critical Care Units. As such,
he/she has 24 hour responsibility and accountability for all
patient care activities, unit operation and staff function.
Will occasionally be directly responsible and accountable for the
care given to his/her CCU assigned patients. Assesses, plans,
implements, directs, and evaluates all services provided within the
departments. Responsible to and reports to Director Nursing
Services. Duties include budgeting, capital expenditure,
staffing, performance improvement, patient rounds, planning
services, staff training and supervision, performance evaluations
with improvement plans as necessary. Possesses the technical
skills to act quickly, knowledgeably, and appropriately in any
situation that may occur. Works with patients, customers, and
the community with flexibility and adaptability.
The candidate must have a thorough
knowledge of nursing principles and procedures; knowledge and skill
in techniques of good patient care. The person must be dependable
regarding attendance, self-motivated with good communication
skills.

RequiredQualifications:
Graduated from an accredited school of
nursing. BS or BSN preferred. RN Currently licensed
with the Oregon State of Board of Nursing, BLS and ACLS
required. PALS and CCRN preferred.
Five years of acute care hospital experience and two years
supervisory and/or management experience required.
